The Army and the Pols will protect their honor at all cost's even while lying about actions done by the people in their charge that they encourage. The Enlisted man pays for the sins of their leaders.

Hope I don't go to jail

High In the Nam

I'v had a lot of guy's tell me they never knew anyone in Delta that smoked herb. Really? I'm Talking '69 and '70. Can't speak about when I wasn't there. There was a split.............the Heads and the- Juicers. The Heads juiced too, but the- Juicers didn't smoke. Caused problems. The- Juicers didn't trust the Heads and the Heads hated the- Juicers for that. Some Juicers after being there for awhile and getting to know the Heads found getting High was safer than Juicing. Now there is a split in our country that needs to be mended. Hate and mistrust doesn't work.

on the outside!

Sittin here listening to Janice Joplin. Wondering why so many don't understand why she died so young. I think it was a broken Heart. But I refuse to die like that. Had a friend in the Nam called P.J. Coleman. Found out he may have committed suicide. Janice died while we were in Nam. He and I used to listen to her on our little Cassette player. He told me he wish he could have saved her. He loved her! I refuse to die like that.

Wannabes!

Did you ever meet a wannabe? One of those people that say's I'm in a band. Easy to prove right? He or she say's yeah come on down to such and such bar Friday and we'll be rockin out. You go there and sure enough there they are. Then there are the people you meet that say: yeah I was in the war, it was bad shit. Then they start telling you things that don't make sense because you were there. But some of the posers can fool you for awhile but they always slip up.
